David Gay
Financial Advisor
David was born and raised in McKinney, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University and after graduating in 1986 began a career in engineering and business development. A 20+ year
career in aerospace and defense contracting provided David with a solid understanding of
corporate financials and the importance of fiduciary responsibility. After years of providing
investment advice to family and friends he turned his hobby into a new career.
As a part of giving back to the San Antonio community especially to children and young adults,
David became involved with Aggie Park and the San Antonio Texas A&M Foundation (board member 2022-2023) raising money to provide college scholarships, and Alamo Kiwanis Club that raises money for local Bexar County children’s charities. David is also a member of the Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce.
Hunting dove, pheasant, ducks, and quail led David to the world of hunting retrievers. As a
member of Alamo Retriever Club for over 15 years David served as the club president for 12
years, and currently serves on their board of directors. He has two Labrador Retrievers, Gin and Rye that enjoy hunting and running AKC and HRC hunt tests and field trials. David recently
joined the San Antonio Gun Club board of directors to help foster the next generation of young
shooters and hunters.
